Presto Rides LLC was built from a long-standing passion for automobiles and years of hands-on experience in the car industry. The journey began in 2002 with the purchase and sale of a first vehicle, and by 2008 expanded into actively buying and selling vehicles while gaining deeper experience in the automotive market.
In 2015, that experience evolved into Business Optimization Systems and Services (B.O.S.S.), where work included consulting for car rental companies and dealerships, assisting with fleet upgrades, and acting as a vehicle broker connecting buyers and sellers.
Over the years, this work has been guided by what I refer to as the "Pono Broker" philosophy — conducting vehicle transactions with transparency and sharing all available information so buyers clearly understand what they are purchasing. This approach helped build a reputation as a reliable source for quality vehicles and practical cruisers.
A significant part of this experience includes working with post-accident vehicles, having sold several hundred rebuilt or salvage-title vehicles over the years. Rather than performing repairs personally, all restoration and repair work has consistently been delegated to reputable and qualified mechanic and body shops, ensuring that vehicles are properly repaired and inspected before returning to the road.
This experience has also included assisting businesses with sourcing vehicles and upgrading rental fleets, focusing on reliability, practicality, and value.
Today, that accumulated experience is applied to managing a growing cruiser fleet through Presto Rides LLC, focused on providing dependable transportation and straightforward service for visitors exploring Maui. As the company continues to grow, the goal remains the same — to offer reliable vehicles while operating with the same honest, transparent approach that built its reputation over the years.
